Six different protein-splitting enzymes (proteases) including bromelain and papain unfold their effect in different pH ranges and thus ensure efficient protein digestion in the entire gastrointestinal tract.

Alpha-galactosidase, cellulase, hemicellulase and pectinase support break down of dietary fibres that the body itself cannot break down enzymatically and make them easier to digest.

Lactase helps utilise the milk sugar lactose from food.  

Phytase neutralises mineral-binding phytic acids from plant foods e.g. beans & lentils, further improves nutrient absorption.
