Glutathione is a key antioxidant in the body. It is essential for scavenging free radicals and for detoxification. It binds toxins, heavy metals and pollutants and helps with their elimination. It promotes the circulation of Vitamin C, boosts immune functions, aids in liver repair and protects cells.

Tisso Pro Glutathion provides all necessary building blocks from cysteine, glycine to two highly bioavailable selenium to effectively increase glutathione levels for the body to perform all the essential jobs.

N-acetylcysteine (NAC)

Cysteine is one of the three amino acids in addition to glutamine and glycine from which glutathione is formed. An adequate supply of this amino acid is particularly important because cysteine is easily oxidized to cystine in the gastrointestinal tract and is therefore lost for the formation of glutathione.

Pro Glutathion supplies cysteine in a stabilized form as N-acetylcysteine (NAC). Due to the attached acetyl group, the cysteine is protected from oxidation and is released in the liver ready for glutathione synthesis.

Glycine

The amino acid glycine is not only necessary for the synthesis of glutathione, but is also directly involved in the breakdown of harmful substances and metabolic products in the liver. Although the limiting factor for glutathione synthesis is cysteine, the body's own synthesis of glycine is not always sufficient to replenish the glutathione reserves.

Clinical studies have shown that a combination of glycine and N-acetylcysteine reliably increases low glutathione levels and thus reduces oxidative stress.

Selenium in a double pack

Glutathione relies on selenium to fulfill its role as a free radical scavenger. The trace element is a central cofactor for certain enzymes (glutathione peroxidases) that are responsible for the antioxidant function of glutathione.

Pro Glutathion contains a combination of the two selenium sources sodium selenite and selenomethionine. The body can utilize the inorganic sodium selenite particularly quickly, while the organically bound selenomethionine serves as a store. So the body is optimally supplied with selenium.

Ingredients : N-acetyl-L-cysteine (49.4%), glycine (28.2%), pullulan capsule, rice flour, sodium selenite (1.3%), L-selenomethionine (0.4%).

Vegan. Free of gluten, lactose, fructose and yeast. Naturally made without flavour enhancers, preservatives and colouring agents.

Recommended dosage: 2 times x 1 capsule on an empty stomach or between meals with sufficient liquid, preferably one capsule in the morning and one in the early afternoon.
